Setting

Below is a list of settings to which characters will have access throughout the course of the game. Blue ribbons indicate that the setting was created by the mods, and is freely accessible at all times without requiring OOC permission. Red ribbons are created by and maintained by players, and as such, they determine how accessible the setting is for other characters. ('Open to All' / 'IC Invite' / 'Ask OOC' / etc.) Grey ribbons are worlds that are not actively maintained by a villain character, either because the villain dropped from the game or because a non-villain character's player created it. To add your world to the list, please use the code below. Worlds are listed in the order in which they were submitted, with the most recent on the bottom, and will be deleted from the page if it isn't owned by an active character AND if it isn't actively being used by other characters in the game.

Code to Add or Change a World

Malum: Nexus Open To All

A not-so-wretched hive of scum and villainy, albeit somewhat chaotic in its layout. The primary gates to and from the worlds of others lies in the middle of an enormous grassy field surrounded by several Stonehenge-esque structures. Stand in the middle and speak the name of your destination, and one of the stone gates will fill with mist and expand to accommodate a character's size so they may comfortably pass through. Beyond this field is a kiosk with a helpful lady (???) robot, who will distribute maps, communication devices, and information about how to reach different parts of Malum. This area imposes a non-world-destroying nerf on a character's powers, but rampant destruction is allowed in all sectors. Any damage sustained to a public structure will automatically be reverted after 24 hours.

Malum: Daletown Open To All

To the north is the small suburban part of the city with modern technology and comfortable houses. This area is mostly residential with a few small businesses offering customized goods. There are parks, diners, and public transportation within the borders of Daletown, populated with lots of friendly and welcoming NPCs. They're all expendable, and will return to wish you a cheery good morning the very next day after their grim demise.

Malum: Brookshire Open To All

To the east is a more monstrous and Victorian-esque city with intricate gothic architecture, shady characters, and supernatural entities such as ghosts and vampires. A thick fog blankets the ground at all times, growing more pervasive and encompassing as night falls. Businesses cater specifically to the gruesome dietary needs of its inhabitants, where live people can be purchased for a bloody feast. It's usually cheaper just to buy the bags of blood, though.

Malum: Palatia Open To All

To the west one may find a more rustic and medieval setting with grand castles for rent, as well as enchanted fortresses, thick forests full of mystical beasts, and even dragon caves. Fantasy races of all kinds may be found dwelling in this realm, with a variety of kingdoms cobbled together ripe for the conquering -- from mountain caverns housing a clan of dwarves to beautiful silvery spires and fresh glades of the elven tribes.

Malum: New Nebul Open To All

Finally, to the south is the BIG city, stacked with skyscrapers at a minimum of twenty stories tall. It's filled with flying cars and speeders, science labs, and cyber-enhancement facilities. Alien visitors (usually pirates and mercenaries) are frequent visitors, though they don't really seem to come from anywhere or leave. Servants are usually robotic, though an exotic alien may occasionally be favored by the more wealthy residents.
